OUR HISTORY

Pastor Foster crafted this tool to cut through all of the preconceived notions of manhood that are all too commonplace so that no doubt would remain as to what authentic manhood is from God’s perspective. Starting with just a small group of men at the beginning, we’ve since seen hundreds of men have their thoughts reshaped, homes restored, identities found and lives transformed.

In 1997, The B.O.M.B. Squad was founded by Stacey R. Foster, founder and former senior Pastor of Life Changers International Ministries in Detroit, MI, and current National Director of Church Engagement for Compassion International. God placed a burden on Pastor Stacey’s heart to reach other men and show them where we’ve all fallen short so that we can reclaim our purpose.

Men from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds come together to discover that the struggles of manhood are common to all men. From the formerly incarcerated to police officers, non-believers to church Bishops, 12 year-old boys to 85 year-old seniors….we exist to help men go deeper with God, connect more authentically with each other, and lead more courageously at home, work, and in their communities for the glory of God.
